Have just had a lovely week staying at the Priory Lea Holiday Flats, our fourth stay there. As always the Flat was spotless and had everything needed for a home from home stay. The location is good with great views over the lovely landscape to the horse and riding school. A nice stroll into town centre (passing 9 pubs on the way if you get thirsty). As always Gillian was very welcoming and helpful and nothing too much trouble. Looking forward to our next return visit.

I am embarrassed to say, we’ve stayed with Gill Taylor approximately 8 times, and I’ve never written a review. We love the Priory Lea!

We visit family, and enjoy long hikes, pubs, and football games. The Priory Lea is absolutely perfect for us; all the comforts of home at a very reasonable price. Gill is accommodating and cheerful; going out of her way to make our stay special.

We will definitely be back again, and soon I hope!

When going to Buxton this is my home away from home. All apartments are fully equipped with everything you need. Funny thing is the coin box where you have to pay your own electricity. Make sure you got a few pound coins on arrival. Nice quiet spot half in town half in nature

We’ve been staying at Priory Lea for about 10 years and love it. Gill Taylor is warm, considerate, and has accommodated our needs from across the pond.

Flats are comfortable and we enjoy cooking our meals, cozy nights sleep, and visiting areas Walking distance to pubs, shopping, culture, and in an area with amazing hikes.

Hope to be back in Spring. Thanks so much

When we arrived at the apartments we were met by Gill, the owner. She showed each couple their individual apartment and made us all feel very welcome. She was extremely friendly and very helpful throughout the whole week, always ready to fill us in with the information we required at the time. The flats were spotlessly clean and very homely, and the beds were very comfortable. They were also very warm, something that we did need whilst we were there during May. The flats were in an excellent position, both for visiting Buxton and for visiting wider afield. We were able to walk to the town every evening for a meal, which meant that none of us had to drive, and we could have a drink! The views from the top flat were excellent, overlooking fields; we loved looking at the horses. We would definitely recommend these flats and will probably re-visit in a couple of years.

We have been coming to Priory Lea for 20 years because of its great location.

The apartments are set within a lovely Victorian Villa, with views onto the countryside and walks on the doorstep to Grin Low Country Park and into Buxton itself.

We stay in apartment 1 which is a great size for a family, clean and our dog can come too. Nothing is too much trouble for Gill (the owner) when we book and when we are at Priory Lea.

Our now annual weeks visit to one of the most picturesque places there is. These holiday flats suit our needs perfectly for location and facilities and the owner is friendly and accommodating.

The flats are very roomy and comfortable and the location is quiet at the end of a cul de sac with views over the fields with horses.
